Position Summary      

Based in Denver, this Facilities Coordinator reports to an off-site Property Manager and is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day physical operation, administration and implementation of the maintenance of a portfolio of properties located in the Denver area. Emphasis is placed on providing a positive response to the concerns and needs of Tenants building concerns. This role does require the ability to travel from Downtown Denver to Golden, CO. Additionally, this role requires the need to be able to respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis, as applicable.

Facilities Maintenance

  • Coordinate facility maintenance/repairs
  • Dispatch and resolve facilities tickets
  • Provide office building security administration
  • Oversee minor tenant improvement projects and assists in larger projects
  • Secure quotations for service agreements and tenant improvement projects
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure vendor performance
  • Other duties as required

Budget and Financial Administration

  • Arrange monthly bank deposits of tenant rent cheques
  • Prepare POs, contracts and service agreements
  • Review and code invoices/enter POs into property management software system
  • Provide budget administrations support, where necessary
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks efficiently and in a time sensitive manner within established budgets and deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and cohesively as a member of a team
  • Ability to perform a variety of skilled and unskilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as drywall mudding, minor plumbing, painting, carpentry or other crafts for the purposes of maintaining and repairing buildings/tenant premises
  • Ability to source, screen and manage contractors/external vendors
  • Solid understanding of contracting procedures and practices
  • Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
  • A keen interest in applying best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity
  • Ability to identify and recognize unsafe conditions or work practices
  • Desire to foster good tenant relations in the best interests of the Landlord
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel) or similar programs for the creation of budgets and tracking of expenses and construction timelines
  • Possesses and maintains a valid Driver’s License

Work Schedule
